I’m an early-career engineer with hands-on experience in radar, digital signal processing (DSP), and embedded systems, and a strong passion for integrated circuit (IC), discrete, and analog circuit design and analysis. Currently, I’m researching passive radar techniques using software-defined radio while completing my Computer Engineering degree (expected July 2025). A former United States Marine with an active Secret clearance, I bring a hands-on approach, teamwork, and leadership skills to every project. I’m also expanding my expertise in machine learning and computer vision for embedded platforms, and plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics to further enhance my technical capabilities.
I have served as a Research Intern at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), where I focused on advanced digital signal processing (DSP), passive radar systems, and metasurface optics for low-power image processing. My work involved designing and implementing DSP algorithms using software-defined radio platforms, Python, and GNU Radio, as well as exploring machine learning techniques with TensorFlow and Keras. This hands-on research background, combined with my leadership experience from past roles, has honed my problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation skills—key strengths I bring to any technical team.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Florida State University, maintaining a strong academic record (GPA: 3.98/4.0). My coursework includes Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communications, Electromagnetics, Control Systems, and VHDL, Microelectronics 1 and 2, providing a broad foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of electronics. I also hold an Associate of Arts degree from Northwest Florida State College, where I was consistently recognized on the President’s and Dean’s Lists. This blend of hands-on research and rigorous academics has prepared me to excel in advanced engineering environments.
