Lola Rawley

I am a very sociable and lively person, I love engaging with others, making small talk and asking about someone's day. I pride myself in being a quick learner and who is open to anything. My past employers would say I am very open and flexible.

I also would say I am incredibly determined and ambitious. In my work environment, I value an open and welcoming atmosphere. Previously I have worked in high stress situations where I needed to fill/cover for someone, I would say I am a great adapter and can successfully navigate stressful situations.

Lifeguard + Swim Instructor - Tower School - Marblehead, MA

At Tower School in Marblehead MA I worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor with a team of 13 other people. It was during the yearly summer camp Tower runs which started in June and ends in August

• Worked daily with kids aged 3-12 on swimming skills. I assisted through giving out lessons and physically swimming with the kids.
• Had lifeguard duty where I had to scan the water for danger and be prepared to save someone at any time.
• I worked every week day during the summer from 8:30am - 2:00pm

Creative Kids Program Assistantship - Peabody Essex Museum

During April break, and as a emerging arts leader alumni, I was offered the position of an assistant to artists in residences and program managers to run a week long camp for kids aged 11-14.

• Carrying out program instruction
• Assisting children with activities and projects
• Being assigned groups of kids to teach

Emerging Arts Leader Intern - Peabody Essex Museum

I had the pleasure of being an Emerging arts intern at the Peabody Essex museum as a fall 2025 cohort member. Through this experience I gained essential knowledge about Salem, how museums run, and contemporary art.

• Bi-weekly reflections and evaluations of our intern experience
• Research on a specific artist and art piece
• Hands-on experience working behind the scenes with management
