Insulation Installer at Renn Building Product (2012-08 – Present)
- Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems.
- Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements.
- Communicate with supervisors of the project to understand the insulation needs of the specific building i.e. the space, and heat-retention of materials
- Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines
- Run blowers by moving controls and levers whenever foam insulation is needed for a project
- Climb stairs and ladders
- Work in small crawl spaces and stand for long periods of time
- Install plastic covers, tape, cement, etc to finish and cover spaces
- Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes.
- Prepare surfaces of insulation by applying adhesives, metal pins, and asphalts
- Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed
- Transports needed tools and equipment to job sites i.e. handsaws, tape measures, knives, scissors, and power saws
- Follow and adhere to company and industry safety procedures and regulations
- Work within time-sensitive deadlines and various weather i.e. hot/cold temperatures
Box Truck Driver at Renn Building Product (2012-08 – Present)
- Transport items i.e. goods or materials to and forth from the company, plants, and distribution centers
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Drive company trucks to make routine deliveries
- Adhere to truck driving rules and regulations and road safety
- Support with load and upload of delivery trucks
- Inspect truck for safety issues, and mechanics and do maintenance
- Communicate with the maintenance team on issues and safety related to the truck
- Report accidents and violations
- Represent and complete paperwork for the company
Security at Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park (2012-04 – 2012-08)
- Enforce and monitor park safety rules while protecting park guests, employees, and assets
- Support with maintaining the cleanness of the park
- Communicate with the team to ensure and provide a good experience for guests
