My name is Luke Porter. I grew up in rural south east Iowa on a farm. On my families farm I learned the value of hard work. I carried those values with me when I moved to Florida and took on a great deal of responsibilities within my north Florida community.
NJROTC Program(High school military program):
Commanding and executive officer of Supply In this role I managed the units uniform and supplies inventory, a role that involved administrative tasks like inventory keeping. I had to keep accurate records of all items we had on hand, and when items where removed or added the record we be updated. This role also had me oversee supply officials who would aid in supply tasks. This job gave me leadership and administrative experience.
Roving ambasador In this role I went around the hospital and it was my goal to identify those who may be lost looking for their appointments. Once I find someone who is lost it was my responsibility to guide that person to their appointment. I would also be available to answer questions about the hospital. This volunteer job gave me experience in the customer service sector.
Nocatee Spray and Splash water parks:
As a booker for my communities local water park I was responsible for keeping an online record of guest entries, which gave me experience in administrative tasks. My expiernce there was also customers service, for I was responsible for checking guest bags, and checking guest into the park.
