Meera Aldrich

I am a Certified Medical Coder. I graduated from Northeast Technical Institute and have a B.A. from Wellesley College. I am an efficient, organized, highly motivated, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a group setting but can also excel in a leadership role. I have a strong background in customer service and data entry. The most rewarding jobs I have held involved working with children and for non-profit organizations.

My professional experience has been mostly focused on customer service, data entry, office administration for non-profit organizations and special education. Jobs I have held have required a fairly diverse set set of skills, from high volume image processing involving EZPass violations for the Maine Turnpike Authority to playing an integral role in developing students' IEPs as a Special Education Technician. The consistent themes throughout have been my ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively with others, accuracy, integrity and the willingness to adapt to fluid, complex situations through intelligent problem solving.

Graduating from Northeast Technical Institute with very high marks has been my most relevant education regarding Medical Coding. Through the year long program what I learned included anatomy and physiology, outpatient administrative processing, EHR, ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding, guidelines and regulations regarding HIPPA, Medical Billing and Coding and Medicare, as well as Microsoft office programs relevant to the medical billing and coding field.
