Madeleine Borodach

Madeleine Borodach is a vocalist local to the Denver-Metro area. Her passion for music began in her childhood, when she was a member of the Colorado Children’s Chorale and was an enthusiastic member of her middle and high school choirs. That passion has continued into her adult life, where she studied jazz voice at the University of Northern Colorado, where she performed with a wide variety of ensembles, including their flagship vocal ensemble and Funk Lab.

At UNCO, Madeleine built skills to become a strong ensemble, background, and lead vocalist in a variety of contemporary styles. While in the UNCO jazz studies program, she was recognized as an outstanding student, and while she was a member, the FunkLab ensemble won a DownBeat Magazine Award. After taking some time off from school, Madeleine is now pursuing a degree in Music Business at the University of Colorado Denver with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027.

During her studies, Madeleine has also fostered a passion for music education. She believes that music education is instrumental in a child’s development and is community-building for adults. Music education can help everyone foster creativity, self-confidence, independence, community, and so much more. Madeleine also believes that everyone can successfully make music regardless of “inherent talent”.

When Madeleine is not singing or studying for her classes, she enjoys hanging out with her cats at home, thrifting for records, and sewing.
