Madelyn Sparks

My name is Madelyn Sparks, and I am a 22-year-old graduate of San Jacinto College. I received a General Studies associate degree to start my education, but I am currently attending a 4-year university to further it. More specifically, I am attending the University of Houston and am majoring in Music Education so I can ultimately graduate with a bachelor's degree in that field.

During my time at my two jobs as a server at Olive Garden and a food service worker at Buc-ee's, I gained many skills that can help me to communicate appropriately with customers, even ones that are more difficult to accommodate, as well as to constantly work hard to better myself and my performance at whatever I am tasked to do. As an employee, I am willing to complete every task that I am asked to, to constantly improve myself in being the best team member I can be for the bettering of myself, my co-workers, and customers, to improve my communication skills so I can communicate with my co-workers and customers successfully and adequately, and to always be on time to work. My work ethic and drive when I have a goal have always been solid.

They allow me to succeed at whatever I attempt to accomplish regardless of circumstantial obstacles hindering my success as I can overcome them. I will be able to overcome difficulties in this new work environment as well, given this mindset.

Server at Olive Garden (2022-02 – 2022-08)

I worked as a server from the beginning of February 2022 to the start of August 2022 at the Baybrook location.

Food Service Worker at Buc-ee's (2023-06 – 2025-09)

I worked in food service at Buc-ee's from June 13th, 2023, to September of 2025.
