Performed multiple roles in brewery operations including truck loading, depalletizing, filling, and packing operations.
- Truck Loader: Transferred pallets of beer from palletizers or racks to trucks, stored beer and kegs using single and double-load forklifts, and set up trailers for storage. Ensured loading met specific pattern and spacing standards.
- Depalletizer Operator: Operated depalletizers for five different can and bottle lines, changed dunnage, delivered material to lines, ordered cans, and recorded load data using computer systems. Responsible for machine troubleshooting, and maintaining continuous operation.
- Filler Operator: Monitored and maintained the filling equipment to ensure beer was filled into bottles and cans accurately and efficiently. Addressed minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime and worked with quality control to meet production standards.
- Packer Operator: Oversaw final packing process, ensuring beer was packaged correctly into cartons or trays. Checked for proper labeling and product integrity. Maintained cleanliness and safety standards on the packaging line. Deemed lead operator and worked closely with contractors and trained other operators.

Operated meat processing machinery and managed inventory control for major food service companies.
- Machine Operator: Worked on vemag machine in which meat was dispersed in one pound increments for Laura's Lean and Hyvee supermarkets. Performed breakdowns for quality assurance, sometimes assembly if not used on first shift. Cleaned parts at end of shift after final breakdown. Considered lead of this particular line.
- Inventory Control: Provided meat for two departments to complete orders for companies such as Sysco, Walmart, Laura's, Hyvee, Hazelton, and Marshall. Responsible for unloading trucks and sometimes loading when necessary. Separation and disposal of trash and cardboard. Operated forklift. Dealt with shipping and receiving departments to ensure proper cuts and lean points of beef were available. Worked closely with quality assurance to monitor availability of meat. Considered lead of this area.
Depalletizer Operator / Relief Person at LaCrosse City Brewery (2009-06 – 2012-06)
Operated glass bottle depalletizing machinery and provided relief coverage across multiple production lines.
- Operated glass bottle depalletizer, a hydraulic powered machine for empty bottles for companies such as Mike's Hard and Smirnoff. Bottles were transported to the filler operator. Responsibilities included ensuring machine functioned properly by adjusting parts such as the lift. Monitored machine closely for issues and informed electricians or maintenance depending on the problem.
- As relief person provided breaks for other depalletizer operators for can and bottle lines. On occasion worked in different departments at the supervisor's request.
