Internship at NYC Jewelry Designer (Bliss Lau) (2026-06 – 2026-06)

During this Summer internship, I had the opportunity of getting to work under jewelry designer Bliss Lau at her studio in Brooklyn, New York, learning how a high-end jewelry business is run.

• Utilized Excel and other various Microsoft applications to organize and communicate with coworkers
• Organized precious gemstone collection
• Appraised and repriced gemstone collection
• Commuted regularly into the Diamond District to pick up/drop off pieces and purchase gemstones
• Designed packaging (such as the Certificate of Authentication Card and Labels for gemstones)
• Assisted in making sure Photoshoots ran smoothly (cleaning/keeping track of jewelry pieces, shading the photographer, getting lunch for crew, steaming clothing)

Member of the Public Art Committee at City of Merriam, KS (2023-01 – 2028-12)

Appointed by the Mayor of the City for a five year term.

• Tasked with collaborating with the community of Merriam, local, and non-local artists to incorporate public art throughout the city with a $500,000 budget
• Involved in the process for creating a Master Plan by working with a Consulting Firm and gaining feedback from the community through surveys in person interviews
• Learned to work with varying personalities toward a common goal

Visitors Service Representative at National Museum of Toys and Miniatures (2023-01 – 2026-12)

• Volunteer work for exhibit design and research
• Paid to work at the front desk, interacting with visitors, utilizing the register, gallery upkeep, and processing sales for museum tickets and the gift shop
