Hi! My name is Mariah Johnson and I am currently a student at UCSB. I have 1 year of retail experience and 2 years of experience hosting at a fine dining restaurant in Sacramento, California. I’m passionate about helping others and creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and that they’re getting an elevated experience unlike any other. I spent 1 year working in luxury retail in Montecito, California where I would deliver personalized service, build strong client relationships, ensured boutique presentation and maintained product knowledge. As a host in fine dining I managed front of house operations in a fast paced setting providing seamless guest experience. I demonstrated calmness during high volume shifts and made sure each guest had an elevated experience from reservation to departure.
I also trained new hosts brought on to the team.
I am currently getting my undergraduate degree in Political Science on the pre law track at UC Santa Barbara.
