Marian Feist

I have been in Government Acquisitions, specifically contracting since 2008. I have my FAC-C in contracting through USDA and obtained my level III DAWIA in contracting in the Department of Defense. I have extensive customer service skills. I am passionate about helping people get what they want ethically and by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). I am a retired U.S. Army Officer. I was an acquisition's officer, Engineer Officer and Logistics specialist.

I have been a contracting specialist and contracting officer since 2011. I worked for the Department of Defense (Army), USGS and USDA for the past 14 years in contracting. Prior to becoming an acquisition officer, I was an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army. I was a substitute teacher for 6 months after retiring from the U.S. Army and beginning my work with USGS.

Acquisition Corp Lifetime Member, Level 3 DAWIA Contracting, Level 2 DAWAI Program Management and earned my FAC-C. I have a Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Associates of Arts in Business. I completed the Army Acquisition Basic course. I have completed my Continuous Learning Points of 100 points each two-year period as directed to keep my warrant as a contracting officer.
