Experience in Correctional nursing for 28 years, mostly as a travel nurse.
Administration of medications, treatments, and immunizations to male and female inmates. Notified provider of critical Labs. Experience with wound care/ type ll diabetes. Assisted physician with immobilization of casts. Patien teaching/ education for a variet of medical diagnosis. Prepared inmates for transportation to local hospitals for emergency care, relocation to other correctional facilities, and releases.
