I began my academic path by studying Psychology in México as my major, which laid the groundwork for my understanding of mental health and human behavior. I later pursued a Master's degree in Health Psychology, completing all required assignments and coursework. Although I didn’t obtain the degree officially, the knowledge and skills I gained during that time continue to shape my professional approach.
After moving to the United States, I shifted my focus toward practical service delivery. I started my professional career by earning my CBHCM credential (Community Behavioral Health Case Manager), which empowered me to support individuals through care coordination and behavioral health services.
Shortly after, I was hired as a PSR Facilitator, providing psychosocial rehabilitation and helping clients develop life and coping skills. Continuing my growth in the field, I obtained my WSC license (Waiver Support Coordinator), allowing me to serve individuals with developmental disabilities in a more specialized capacity.
Later, I returned to the role of PSR Facilitator at a different clinic. Unfortunately, in May of this year, the clinic discontinued its PSR program, which led to the loss of my position.
