I am currently self studying cloud engineering, a field focused on designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions. Through self-guided learning, I am acquiring knowledge and practical skills related to cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). I am studying concepts such as virtualization, containerization, scalability, and security to understand how to leverage the cloud's power for efficient and reliable application development and deployment.
Additionally, I am exploring various cloud services like cloud storage, compute instances, and database management to gain a comprehensive understanding of building and optimizing cloud-based architectures. By independently immersing myself in cloud engineering, I am equipping myself with the necessary expertise to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of cloud computing and contribute to the development of innovative and scalable solutions.
As a beginner in cloud computing, I have been actively gaining experience in various essential components of cloud infrastructure, such as RDS, S3, and EC2 instances. With regards to RDS (Relational Database Service), I have familiarized myself with its features and configuration options, learning how to set up and manage relational databases in the cloud effectively. In addition, I have explored Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) and its functionalities, understanding how to store, retrieve, and manage data objects efficiently.
Furthermore, I have delved into the world of EC2 instances, learning how to provision and manage virtual servers in the cloud, gaining hands-on experience in deploying applications and ensuring their scalability and availability. While I am still in the early stages of my cloud journey, these experiences have provided me with a solid foundation and a practical understanding of these fundamental cloud services.
After dedicating my time to studying nursing, I have embarked on a new educational journey by delving into the realm of cloud computing through self-study. While nursing provided me with a strong foundation in healthcare, my curiosity and passion for technology have driven me to explore the exciting field of cloud engineering. Through self-guided learning, I am immersing myself in cloud platforms, learning about virtualization, scalability, and security, and familiarizing myself with prominent cloud services like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
This self-study endeavor allows me to broaden my horizons and acquire valuable skills that can bridge the gap between healthcare and technology, enabling me to contribute to the development of innovative solutions in both fields.
