A linguistically trained teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL) for adult learners with over a decade of experience at all levels, ranging from community college survival English to academic preparation in a university-based intensive English program, and for learners from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. → Full-time classroom instruction in upper intermediate speaking/listening integrated bloc, academic listening,
and reading/writing at all levels, summer session and overload teaching in all four skill areas, focusing on upper intermediate.
→ Participated as an instructor in GoTeacher, an academic exchange between U.S. universities and the Ministry of Education in Ecuador, for which Kansas State was a lead institution.
→ Led initiative to establish exchange with Indonesian universities with self-planned and funded visits to the country in 2014, 2015, 2106, 2017, 2018, and 2019; negotiated memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with four Indonesian institutions.
