- Knowledge of sterilization techniques.
- Troubleshooting surgical equipment.
- Collaboration and strong communication with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring vital signs, airway management, and pain management.
- Recognizing and responding to post-anesthetic or surgical complications.
- Providing patient and family education to ensure there is a safe transition to home or an extended care environment.
Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Oncology) - Aurora Medical Center - Grafton, WI
- Coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Prepares and administering medications while including documentation.
- Admitting and discharging patients.
- Educating patients and family on individual needs.
- Records all care information accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
- Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs.
