Senior Independent Testing Specialist (Senior Assistant Vice President), Enterprise Functions (Finance) at Wells Fargo (2023-05 – 2026-09)
Second-line testing of Treasury, liquidity, and capital controls at a G-SIB under heightened supervision.
- Designed and co-developed a Copilot agent loop across the full engagement lifecycle (scoping, pre-planning, planning and preparation, execution, reporting), in deployment when the role was eliminated. Agents over the function's internal documentation captured and structured business information into the methodology's format with human review at every gate; scoping agents drafted scope and test approach, QA agents reviewed workpapers before lead and manager review. Review, approval, and handoff stages ran more than 50% faster.
- Delivered approximately 15–20 second-line engagements over Treasury and corporate-finance controls (i.e. debt issuances, liquidity monitoring/forecasting and reporting, capital adequacy): full-scope RCSAs and targeted testing.
- Led design and operating-effectiveness testing of four control families: CCAR forecast governance, liquidity stress-test model controls, SEC and FR Y-14Q reporting, security-level RWA attestation.
- Evaluated a monthly model-output validation control (current vs. prior, input vs. output, output vs. output over a technology-owned, read-only data model), the same pattern AI-output monitoring requires.
- Found procedure-to-practice gaps caused by process and regulatory change and drove remediation with named owners; kept one action-item log with evidence requests and a closing check.
Senior Associate, Financial Services Regulatory Risk & Compliance Advisory at KPMG US (2021-09 – 2023-05)
Regulatory risk and compliance advisory for banking and fintech clients.
- Built a merchant cash advance compliance program for a client from the ground up: policies, procedures, risk assessments, Customer Identification Program.
- Led consumer-compliance engagements (FCRA, EFTA, TILA), including engagement budget reporting and forecasting.
- Co-developed the practice's cryptocurrency training with senior staff and partners.
Bank Examiner, incl. Examiner-in-Charge at Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (U.S. Treasury) (2016-06 – 2021-09)
Federal supervision of national banks; led risk-based examinations and wrote the reports of examination.
- Examiner-in-Charge for multiple risk-based examinations of national banks community/midsize institutions ranging from $50M - $50B in asset size.
- Examined credit, ALM, and IT programs; assessed model risk management under SR 11-7 (inventory, validation, governance); wrote findings to the standard that survives management, agency review, and legal scrutiny.
Independent projects, AI-directed engineering and compliance software at Personal work, outside employment (2025-01 – Present)
- Ran AI developers on two agent platforms as a production workforce for a five-language codebase for a year; designed task decomposition, verification gates, claim vocabulary, and the incident process; owned every accept or rejected decision.
- Measured what unmanaged agent velocity produced (26 repositories, four copies of one application) and replaced it with a written admission test per feature and receipts, not merges, as the unit of progress.
- Shipped through that loop: a public engineering-screening tool (amprintanalyzer.com) stress-tested on 3,396 industrial parts, a 160,000-line compliance-training platform with 553 passing tests, and an SR 11-7-style validation report whose adverse findings restricted the model's approved use.
