Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct the day-to-day operation of plant yard area chemical systems: monitor the overall operation and status of neutralization systems and submit work service requests for system repairs as needed.
- Assist maintenance and engineering with troubleshooting and identifying equipment issues.
- Perform chemical tote/bottle change-outs on equipment support a high-volume, batch production environment.
- Ability to successfully follow Standard Operating Procedures to operate, perform preventive/routine maintenance and servicing various types of equipment.
- Ability to respond to and evaluate a variety of situations involving mechanical, electrical and systems controls.
- Monitor chemical levels and maintain process chemical supply levels.
- Responsible for the unloading bulk chemical and the loading of tanker trucks for shipment.
- Conduct work practices with safety and quality in mind in a 24/7 production environment.
- Responsible for ensuring facility equipment and inventory/consumable levels are accurate.
- Complete required business and regulatory process documentation.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Participate and actively engage in quality and continuous improvement projects.
- Communicate effectively with peers, management, & external stakeholders.
- Must be able to work in second shift/night shifts/weekends on a rotating schedule.

Chemical Technician - GE Aerospace

- Serve as a resource to other technicians in trouble shooting and identifying equipment issues
- Responsible for installation of components and re-build of chemical process equipment

- Mix and measure chemical batches using quantitative measurement tools
- Operate process units to produce chemical intermediates for aviation Ceramic Matrix Composites raw materials
- Monitor various chemical process measurements and respond to deviations
- Conduct routine maintenance and operation of process systems and equipment across assigned process zone and occasionally in cross functional areas

Packaging Operator - Bunge

Responsible for safe and efficient operation of packaging equipment, performing PM maintenance and making minor repairs and producing quality product per production schedule while maintaining safety expectations.
- Promote safety by maintaining a safe work environment, identifying hazards and exposures, and being willing to approach others about safety.
- Responsible for maintaining sanitation levels of work area.
- Perform and complete package quality checks and respond to problems, identify and handle off quality products and package supplies.
- Interpret tank inventories, valve and pump settings to ensure the correct product is being filled and pumped.
- Operate the production line equipment (votators, shortening, liquid and tote line).
- Troubleshoot production line issues to identify problems.
- Perform all assignments satisfactorily, safely, and maintain good attendance.
- Operate a forklift for warehouse, loading, receiving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follows all safety guidelines and rules; environmental and regulatory guidelines; uses all required safety equipment.
- Maintains quality and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
- Following batch formulation, as prescribed by Central Labs, and using knowledge and skills to incorporate approved materials for proper dispersion.
- Approved materials are accurately and efficiently added to dispersion task by uses of electronic gauges, valves, temperature controls, flow meters or other related equipment.
- Mixing the materials and performing quality controls checks for dispersion approval and transfer to the next step within the production process, using prescribed equipment.
- Using electronic information systems to control materials additions, check material inventory supplies, etc.
- Ensures all batches are properly and expeditiously transferred into scheduled tanks for thin-down.
- Ensures batches are completed in accordance with Central Lab formulations.
