Fitness to me, means exploring forms of exercise that bring you happiness and then forming healthy habits around that exercise to remain consistent and purposeful. Over the years, fitness has become a source of positivity for me and has manifested itself in a variety of ways such as Crossfit, running, Olympic Weightlifting, and outdoor activities. Fitness plays a key role in the health and wellness of an individual and should be sought after in order to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
Coming from a competition sports background I have trained using a variety of modalities such as endurance, strength training, high intensity interval training, and many more. I have also had the opportunity to train using different equipment such as machines, barbells, resistance bands, and turf. These training techniques have allowed me to gain knowledge surrounding the results/outcomes that different modalities of exercise present.
I have had the opportunity to train clients in a personal and professional setting. During my time as a gymnastics instructor, I was tasked with creating personalized and general programming for my athletes; focusing on skill progression, injury prevention, and maintenance. During my time as a freelance personal trainer, I developed meaningful relationships with clients; understanding their goals, barriers, and how to adjust programming to produce better outcomes.
