Matthew Chessey

Hello, my name is Matthew Chessey. I am a photographer based in the Pittsburgh area. I have been working in photography and video since 2020, during which time I served as a photographer on the Gateway Clipper Fleet in Pittsburgh. I achieved an associate's degree in video production from Pittsburgh Technical College. Currently, I am working in a grocery store as a stocker, but I am eager to return to the creative field that I love.

Since 2020, I have been working in the video and photo field, whether it has been writing and filming short videos or filming and helping direct two music videos. On the photo side, I have taken pictures for guests and edited them while working on the The Gateway Clipper fleet. Outside of professional roles, I also work a lot on my own time, taking photos and videos. From nature to people to random products sitting on my desk.

I graduated from Pittsburgh Technical College in 2022 with an associate's degree in video production. While I was there, I used the knowledge I learned to better my photo and video work. I learned how to make multiple sets for video shoots and set up multiple types of lighting. I also learned how to work in the audio field. My time at Pittsburgh Technical College helped me better my skills, and I look forward to continuing to further my skills in the workforce.
