I'm a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography & Sustainable Development, as well as a co-major in Energy and a minor in Film Studies. I intend to pursue a career in environmental science, working in geospatial data analysis and watershed management. I’ve gained experience using GIS to analyze geospatial data, in particular hydrologic landscapes.
While working in state government, I’ve learned to connect my geographic knowledge with policymaking. I also have a great passion for films and filmmaking. I've gained experience connecting with alumni working in Hollywood and producing film projects of my own.
From May 2022 to August 2022, I interned with Kentucky's Energy and Environment Cabinet under the Division of Water. As the Watershed Management Branch Intern, I built maps using ArcGIS, delineated watersheds in eastern Kentucky using Arc Hydro tools, developed ArcGIS story maps, and assisted in field work including surface water sampling, groundwater sampling, and drone flight. I've developed a GIS skill base as well as data analysis, technical writing, and virtual collaboration skillsets.
I graduated from Miami University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography & Sustainable Development, with a co-major in Energy and a minor in Film Studies. I achieved a 4.0 GPA as an undergraduate student and was part of the University Honors program.
