I have 35 years SUD recovery experience, 38 years advocacy, 8 years Mentoring, and just took Choices 60 hour course for CPFS. I have over 100 hours in this field (toward the 500 necessary to test with COPA) and 13 of the 26 needed supervision hours.
In February of this year I officially began working in the CPFS role. I have worked one-on-one with individuals, as well as Facilitated groups. August 4th I left that position on good terms as I had moved and have a referral letter from my clinician/ supervisor.
I have multiple certificates: 60 hours of Choices Training, Professional Development... As well as certificates for taking and facilitating 7 Habits, Houses of Healing, Money Matters etc....
