Maya Simmons

Hi! My name is Maya Simmons, and I'm a master's student in exercise science at St. Thomas University (STU) in Miami, Florida. Originally from South Carolina, I received a volleyball scholarship to attend STU. My passion for strength and conditioning was sparked during summer workouts, where I spent countless hours in the weight room learning new exercises and understanding biomechanics.

In addition to my studies, I work in real estate for Cervera Real Estate, which I thoroughly enjoy. As I advance in my exercise science career, I'm eager to gain hands-on experience with high-performing athletes. My ultimate goal is to work in strength and conditioning for either the NFL or collegiate sports programs.
