I am currently finishing my masters degree in counselor education in Penn State University. I graduate in May and am looking for counseling jobs and a supervisor in Charlotte, NC. I have experience as a substance abuse counselor and a direct support for people with disabilities. Please contact me if you know of any opportunities or would like to see my CV.
Prior to coming to get my masters in counselor education at Penn State University, I worked as a substance abuse counselor at Wilmington Treatment Center for a year. I learned skills such as crisis intervention, building rapport with and counseling patients and teaching classes on topics such as boundaries, communication, coping skills, and more.
I am currently finishing my second year of my masters in counselor education at Penn State, I will graduate in May 2025.
