Melissa Sutton

I am a retired Art Educator of the SCSD of 23 years. Currently working as a TA in Marcellus School District. My passion for the Fine Arts does not end in the classroom. As an educator I would offer my students of all grade levels art experiences within our community of Syracuse as well as bringing visiting Artists into the classroom. As a parent, I have shared my love of the Arts with my daughter.

I am a Syracuse University Alumni. Graduating with a BFA in Art Education with focus on Drawing and Painting.

Gained experience as an Art Educator in the Syracuse City Schools starting in 2004 working with all grade levels from Pre-K -12. I am permanently certified in Art Education K-12.

I recently retired in 2023. Currently working as a Program Teaching Assistant in Marcellus schools.

My most recent education has been in Registered Behavior Technician with 40 hours of training. As well as Mandated Reporter training.
