Merritt Fallis

My name is (Mr.) Merritt Fallis, and I am very interested in any position currently available for a band, chorus, or music teacher with American School Foundation. I also teach English, drama, and am certified in ESL (English as a Second Language). I was the band director at ASF for the 2015-2016 school year. I greatly enjoyed my short time with ASF.

I have 36 years of teaching experience. I have taught in the public school system in Arizona, Washington, and Canada, as well as highly regarded private international schools in Mexico (American School Foundation), the Dominican Republic (Carol Morgan School), China (Shanghai American School), Vietnam (British International School and Singapore International School), Malaysia (UCSI International School) and Jordan (American Community School).

I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education (vocal and instrumental/band), as well as a Master's degree in Secondary Education. Both degrees were earned in American universities. I was also a member of the Phoenix Metro Pops Orchestra in the United States (6 years), and Danang Symphony Orchestra in aVietnam (2 years).
