Clinical Support Coordinator - TRA/DINW Radiology - Puyallup, WA

As a Clinical Support Coordinator in charge of the Diagnostic Mammography modality. I assist the radiologist and mammography technicians by obtaining correct imaging orders, and pertinent clinical information needed for the exams being performed from several outside EHR systems. I managed the mammography schedule and made changes when it became necessary.
I worked closely with our breast biopsy coordinator by assisting with obtaining and verifying orders. I oversaw the process of obtaining and validating prior images for our patients. I have become proficient in using the digital image management software (PACS) as well as several EMR's (EPIC, ONCOR.) I also work with our ultrasound team coordinating care when necessary.
