With over 15 years of experience acting as a strategic "force multiplier" for C-Suite leadership in the oil and gas sector, I have built a career on translating executive vision into operational reality during high-stakes transitions.
Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer at Texas State Oil and previously as VP of Projects & Administration at Navidad Operating Company, I have served as the right hand to leadership teams, bridging the gap between Land, Legal, and Operations. My background is uniquely defined by:
- Establishing the Strategic Framework:In 2010, I was recruited byHarold McGowen to establish the first Project Management Office (PMO) for Navidad Resources. I led the mission-critical initiative to activate 27 pads to perpetuate GLO leases, subsequently managing the project through a successful PE-backed divestiture to Sequitur Energy.
- Driving Operational Continuity:Following the asset sale, I was retained by Sequitur to lead matrixed teams across IT and EHS, eventually returning to assist Mr. McGowen in standing up Flagstone and Navidad Operating Company. My roles have consistently required me to manage the "messy" middle of corporate growth—from red-lining MSAs and onboarding mission-critical vendors to overseeing revenue accounting and Land departments.
- Executing Strategic Divestitures:I have a proven track record of managing the full lifecycle of asset marketing and sales, most recently leading the successful divestiture of assets to Burk Royalty in late 2024.
Beyond my technical PMP and MBA credentials, I am a dedicated student of the
Prosci ADKARmodel. I believe that the success of any project depends on leading people through change. My approach ensures that teams don't just have the
Knowledgeand
Abilityto change, but the
Desireto sustain it through purposeful
Reinforcement.
I am eager to discuss how my background in navigating complex M&A integrations and leading cross-functional teams can provide the strategic leverage your executive team needs.
