I love Occupational Therapy because being a practitioner allows me the opportunity to make a difference in the quality of life for so many. I also love singing and playing the piano because music is therapy too.
I graduated from Occupational Therapy school with an Associates degree in 2001. I then went to work honing my skills as well as developing new skills through the years. I have experience in SNFs, LTACs, Home Health, Inpatient and Outpatient settings. I am a people person who gets along well with just about anyone, and I give 100% to my work as a therapist and a team player in an interdisciplinary team.
My initial education relative to Occupational Therapy was a two-year program resulting in my Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy. Continuing education is ongoing and very relevant to stay current with evidence-based treatments and technologies.
