My name is Michele Barbaro. I am currently a senior biology major at Lewis University and will be graduating this coming May. I have been doing microbiology research attempting to isolate novel antimicrobial compounds from soil bacteria for two years. I have experience in performing many laboratory techniques and have the ability to learn new techniques quickly and accurately. Aside from biology, my passions include studying Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, and playing the piano.
