I am a Master of Computer Science student at UC Irvine. I have a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms because of my undergraduate in
Computer Science and hence feel prepared to take the role of software engineer intern for summer’23.
I am proficient in object-oriented programming and have developed end-to-end projects using Java, Python and SQL. I have successfully completed an internship at
Zeeve, a blockchain based automation startup. I worked with Typescript, Docker,
Kubernetes and shell scripting. Specifically, I was delighted when I made a decision that reduced the network calls by a significant amount. I, and my mentor for that matter,
were overall satisfied by the quality and quantity of the work I did, which resulted in them returning an offer for a full time basis.
I am interested in building and developing products that would potentially reach millions of users and help them lead better lives. I am just curious about how technology continues to solve everyday problems. I think I am a great problem solver and a creative person which helps me attack problems from various perspectives. I believe I can build great products and would definitely love to learn and work in not just a hard, but also a smart way.
Additionally, I am an efficient communicator in speaking and writing. My internship experience also made me learn how to collaborate productively with my team members and at the same time, contribute on my own. Overall, I believe that I can prioritize my tasks effectively which helps me complete large tasks by breaking them into smaller ones.
