- Answers inbound calls professionally and in a timely manner with intent to assess potential or current clients needs and direct if need be.
- Utilizes referral templates to complete client intakes or referrals within a timely manner.
- Communicates with counselors or referral sources (LCPC, therapist or managers).
- Complete intakes/ referrals store them in its appropriate files/systems.
- Complete specific intake/ referrals with proper templates based on Medicaid, Private Insurance or Self Pay.
- Contact clients via call or email, based on their preferred contact, regarding insurance approval to start the process of adding a client to waitlist/ or getting assigned to appropriate clinician.
- Communicates effectively with the verification team to ensure all information is provided to receive payments.
- Check the clinicians schedules regularly for availability to schedule new clients from the waiting list.
- Contact clinicians and instruct them to update their schedules in the system to ensure intake process flows and doesn't get backed up.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other EHR systems to assign, provide and schedule clients.
- Attend team meetings weekly.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
