While working at T Bar I learned 4 positions in the kitchen: Dishwasher, Kitchen Back, Mid-Line, and Kitchen lead. I also was put in charge of the new warehouse where I was trusted to work on my own to make delivery runs, implement ideas to improve efficiency, keep the warehouse clean and organized (cleaned the bathrooms, swept the floors rotated stock and pallets). In the kitchen I was responsible for my job at the time plus doing end of shift and weekend chores including deep cleaning all the kitchen equipment, cleaning walls, floors, ceilings, changing air filters on the roof, doing dumpster runs, using a power sprayer to clean walls and sidewalks, and repairing and maintaining the outside fountain.
Lead I was responsible for running a smooth operation, making sure food was on time and accurate, training employees, handling customer complaints, working as a team and keeping the mood upbeat. I was also in charge of changing out dishwashing chemicals and buying cleaning products to use in the restaurant
EMT/Wildland Firefighter at U.S.
Service (2012-05 – 2013-08)
I worked at the Forest Service on Engine 35 as part of a 5 man initial attack fire suppression crew. I was an EMT/Firefighter on Engine 35 out of Hat Creek, California. I was responsible for stabilization and basic life support of patients during motor vehicle accidents.
I was also on over 30 wildland fires, some lasting as long as 16 hours a day for 14 days straight in remote areas throughout California and Nevada. I learned how to communicate effectively and efficiently during high stress emergencies. I was trained in fire behavior, weather patterns, safe chainsaw operation, teamwork, leadership, and human factors on the fire line.
I learned to be highly aware of my surroundings to keep myself and those around me safe, the importance of teamwork, group camaraderie, and to push myself to my limit. When not on fires we would occupy our time by fixing and building things around the station. I gained some basic experience in plumbing, painting, drywalling, chainsaw use and repair, and an overall improvement of my mechanical skills.
Lead Generation Specialist at SolarCity (2011-01 – 2012-05)
I generated leads through cold contact and cold calling for the Solar City sales team. I worked inside Best Buy and evaluated customers roofs by satellite to see if they were good candidates for switching to solar power an then I scheduled them with one of the members of our sales team for a full consultation

I worked at the high end Dragonfly restaurant while living in Truckee, CA for a summer between school years. I was responsible communicating customer needs to servers and cooks,coordinating seating, assisting servers, and ensuring repeat business by providing an up beat friendly dining experience.
