About

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Miami, pursuing a degree in Microbiology and Immunology on the premedical track. Over the past few years, I have accumulated 315+ hours of clinical experience with Stratum Dermatology, where I have developed skills in medical scribing, patient intake, documenting chief complaints, obtaining medication histories, and assisting with procedures such as biopsies and curettage and electrodesiccation. In this role, I work closely with providers to ensure clear and effective communication of patient concerns.

I hold certifications from the Medical Scribes Training Institute (general and dermatology-specific) as well as a Certified Dermatology Technician (CDT) license.

Additionally, I have completed 200+ hours of physician shadowing, further strengthening my understanding of clinical workflows and the collaborative nature of patient care.

As an aspiring physician, I am eager to take on clinical roles such as a medical assistant to deepen my engagement with patient populations in the Miami community. I hope to continue developing essential skills in empathy, medical communication, and hands-on care.
