Ming Liao

I'm a 22 y/o college student studying Comp Sci and self taught frontend developer. Looking to gain more experiences in other places and hopping to learn more. I want to have some knowledge in other fields and grow my network.

I initially learned to design web pages for family through Twix when I was 17 but I felt that I didn't get as much options and freedom. I decided to learn frontend development to design the page to my likings and I got really invested. I designed the page for my cousins restaurant with the help of a backend developer friend from church I went to.

For translation jobs I was asked by family, friends, and family's friends to help translate in multiple environments. I grew up in around people who didn't know much English and new immigrants as a child because I came to America at the age of 4 and went to school here. As I grew up I had the opportunity to practice my native language (Chinese) and English in varies of environments such as hospitals, courts, banks, HR, and other fields.

My most relevant education is in coding and development because that's my interest. I have experiences in Python, Java, JavaScript, and C+. Also had opportunity to meet and network with others.
