I have four years of experience with Courtyard by Marriott, serving as the primary point of contact for guests, clients, and staff. I lead and support the front desk team by ensuring clear communication across departments, coordinating closely with housekeeping and maintenance to guarantee rooms are prepared to brand standards prior to guest arrival, and fostering a high level of service that promotes guest satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
I am responsible for balancing the house, monitoring and reconciling daily inventory, and ensuring room rates are accurately applied and aligned with contracted corporate and group accounts. I work closely with the sales department to confirm that negotiated rates are correctly loaded and honored, supporting revenue goals and ensuring sales initiatives are effectively executed. Additional duties include managing guest check-ins, reporting/resolving guest concerns, reviewing daily arrival and departure reports, verifying special requests, and ensuring operational accuracy and efficiency.
I graduated from Middlesex Community College with an Associate’s degree in English, maintaining a 3.8 GPA and earning a place on the Dean’s List throughout my academic career. My coursework strengthened my analytical thinking, research, and written communication skills, preparing me for continued academic and professional success.
