I am a Ph.D. candidate in Coastal Engineering whose research focuses on experimental studies of turbulent environmental flows and multiphase transport. My work combines laboratory experiments with high-speed imaging, particle image velocimetry (PIV), and computational modeling with OpenFOAM to investigate the dynamics of jets, plumes, bubble and droplet interactions, and other complex free-shear flows relevant to environmental and coastal processes.
I integrate physics-based analysis with statistical learning and reduced-order modeling to derive predictive models from experimental data. I constantly implement custom data acquisition, processing, and post-processing algorithms to not only identify governing flow behavior but also quantify turbulence statistics and obtain interpretable closed-form descriptions of three-dimensional turbulent flows.
Currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant in the CVEN Lab conducting PIV studies on single-phase and multiphase colliding jets and high-speed imaging shadowgraphy study on droplets and bubble coalescence
