Molly Fitzgerald

I am a rising senior at Brown University studying visual arts. Visual arts (including filmmaking) and writing are two of my passions; pursuing courses and extracurricular opportunities in these fields has allowed me to develop my visual and written languages in tandem, giving me invaluable insight into the art of communication. I am a flexible worker and thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments.

I spent nine months interning as a UI/UX design intern for Equitas Prep where I completed tasks consisting of making app screen mock-ups, conducting user research, and presenting my work at weekly meetings. The collaborative—yet largely self-driven—nature of the internship required sharp creative problem-solving abilities and imbued me with the skills needed to thrive in a dynamic professional environment. Additionally, last summer, I worked as a full-time development intern for producer Andrea Miller, whom I connected with on the set of Three Birthdays.

I was responsible for fielding and writing coverage on TV and film scripts sent to Folium Films, the company Andrea founded. I consulted with Andrea and various screenwriters to help shape narratives and create visual mood boards relative to the project at hand to communicate the theme and tone to potential directors. This experience allowed me to use and refine my research, writing, and interpersonal skills as I needed to present my research and analysis of scripts clearly and concisely.

I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in visual art.
