Yes, that's a bearded dragon in my profile picture...celebrating his birthday...with a cupcake! His name is Dart and I had him for 5 years. You also might be wondering "....why??" which is a completely valid question.
I've been an animal lover my whole life starting at a very young age with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, water frogs, and all things reptiles. Oh, and sharks (my favorite animal to this day). I got my degree in Biological Sciences and studied/volunteered abroad in Guatemala for Veterinary Care.
I love all unique animals, ugly cute animals, and disabled animals. You name it, I believe all animals deserve love. I nannied for families all through high school and college and eventually became the go-to pet sitter in my hometown before making the move to NYC.
Now, I'd love to extend my help to local residents and families the same way. I can help out with walks, drop-in visits, feeding, etc and i'm happy to send updates however works best for you! I spend most of my time with dogs and cats, but if you also have an exotic pet, I know how hard it is to find someone who will say yes.
Rest assured, I will :)
