After working as a machine operator, I entered and completed an apprenticeship offered by the International Union of Operating Engineers. During this time, I completed a series of classroom work. I have acquired the City of Chicago Stationary Engineer’s License.
I am ready to further my education and training to advance my skills. I feel this is a great career opportunity that I would excel in. I am familiar with multiple building automation systems used in this profession.
I know how to monitor the meters and gauges to ensure the system is functioning correctly for heating and cooling comfort. Familiar with operating Boiler Plants and Chiller plants in multiple hospitals and high-rise office buildings. I learn quickly and I have exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve or find a solution for issues that arise.
I am mechanically inclined, so I have the skills to perform preventative maintenance programs on all equipment to keep the building functioning at full capacity such as checking fan units, motors, belts, cooling towers, changing filters, plumbing, and chemical testing. I have thirteen years of experience as a licensed Stationary Engineer and am qualified for many positions. have excellent professional communication and writing skills along with strong interpersonal skills. I am very good at prioritizing my time and multi-tasking.
I always maintain a respectful attitude with co-workers, clients and tenants. I am comfortable working independently or working as part of a team effectively. I possess the ability to stay updated on all new technology.
I am physically able to stay focused and perform the responsibilities associated with this position. I am very self-driven and would be a great asset to any team.

I took many H.V.A.C. classes at Joliet Junior College and obtained my E.P.A. CFC Universal Certification. My most recent education was through Triton College. I obtained my Facilities Sustainability and Engineering Technology Diploma/Certificate.
