About
Computer Science & AI student with 6+ years of self-directed experience in game hacking and reverse engineering, focused on low-level and systems programming in C/C++. Deep, hands-on familiarity with the internals and detection mechanisms of the industry's major anti-cheat systems, and with Windows kernel-mode development. Strong understanding of both the offensive and defensive sides of game security — the exact perspective needed to build and break protection at the system level.
Seeking a role in anti-cheat, game security, or low-level engineering.
Experience
Game Security & Anti-Cheat Reverse Engineering at Independent / Self-Directed Research (Present)
6+ years of hands-on, self-taught experience in game hacking and low-level reverse engineering, building a deep understanding of how modern games are protected at the system level.
- Reverse-engineered and analysed the detection and protection mechanisms of leading anti-cheat systems: Riot Vanguard, Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC), BattlEye, Activision Ricochet, and Javelin.
- Practical knowledge of anti-cheat techniques on both sides: kernel-mode protection, integrity checks, anti-debug / anti-tamper, memory scanning, and behavioural detection.
- Built kernel-mode drivers and tooling in C/C++ to study Windows internals, driver/user-mode communication, and cross-process memory access.
