I have been a technology savvy individual from a very young age and it is no wonder that I decided to take up a career in computer networking when I started my bachelors in electronic engineering with specialization in computer networking and communication systems. Since then, it has been an untiring struggle to learn the ins and outs of technology so, I came in USA and completed my Masters in Computer Networking and Telecommunications. I am now interested in putting my knowledge and expertise to use in an environment where my skills could be fully utilized, and this is the reason, I am applying for Cisco Wireless Engineer position at Inventa.
Previously, I have worked as a Network Service Engineer IV at Akraya Inc. as a contractor for Equinix where I was a part of Planning and Integration team who used to add user edge devices, added capacity or backbone devices or re-design and update their for their current or future customers so that they can get access to AWS, Microsoft 365 and Google Cloud through Equinix Cloud eXchange (ECX).
I have worked as a Tech Lead at Cognizant Technology Solutions where my role was to lead a team of Infrastructure Specialists whether onshore or offshore to support and manage Cognizant`s customers network operations such as Symantec Corporation and Nvidia Corporation which involves upgrades for all Cisco Enterprise devices.
I have worked as a Cisco Network Consulting Engineer at Prolient Group Corporation as a consultant contractor for Cisco to Verizon Wireless where my role and responsibilities were to take care and support of in production Cisco devices in the Verizon Wireless environment, upgrades needed and implementation changes.
I have worked as a Network Analyst at West Corporation to monitor and manage day-to-day network operations, worked on incidents, changes and problem requests. Furthermore tracked tickets and worked on customer issues and resolved them before the breach of SLAs.
I have worked as a Network Engineer for Fabergent Inc. as a contractor for Wipro Limited contractor for a project to AT&T Labs where my role was configuring and testing feature function option of MARO (MIS (Managed Internet Services) Access Redundancy Options) for Cisco ASR9K Automation Testing project.
I have worked as Graduate Research Assistant where I was part of SBCD (Small Business Content Development) team where my roles and responsibilities were to author technical articles and contents for Cisco Small Business products.
I have worked as a RF Engineer for GCS Pvt. Ltd. at my back home city and country Karachi, Pakistan, where my role and responsiblity was to manage, monitor, deploy and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks including CCTV cameras which were being for the city government surveillance project. And furthermore I worked in their WiFi and WiMAX deployment and troubleshooted issues to assist the senior RF engineer and to resolve issues for their critical customers as well.
I have worked as a Trainee Engineer for Farrukh Engineering at my back home city and country Karachi, Pakistan, where my role and responsibility was to Assist Senior Engineer in planning and installation for Generators, planned and prepared for site visits with industrial electronic instruments and tool equipment, visited sites and troubleshooted problems occurred on sites and managed site visit reports on daily basis.
