- Created a safety program from the ground up and went from a team of one to managing 5 safety direct reports.
- Responsible for all crew training: OSHA 10 & 30 hour, rigging, reclassified non confined space, on job training (includes all tasks preformed at each jobsite), excavation and trench, construction traffic competent person, and flagger training.
- Responded to all on site unknown utility line damage calls, to document, secure site, take pictures, measurements and to determine responsibility of cause and repair. Submitted all railroad commission operator reports and filing.
- Maintained all aspects of the Safety budget, pricing, ordering supply's, PPE fall protection, fire extinguishers, etc.
- Introduced Safety at Pre- Construction meetings to start relationship with General Contractors with all Safety material, training safety policies needed to be reviewed for job requirements.
