Nancy Lord

Proud Jersey girl, born, raised, and rooted in South Jersey. I am a blessed boy mom to three amazing sons. As a Registered Nurse for over 25 years, I am lucky to do what I love every day: caring for and helping others. I am also a proud 3-year cancer survivor!

In my current role as an Emergency Preparedness Nurse for a local health department, I have spent the last six years leading the planning and implementation of operational activities that keep our community safe and healthy. I also serve as the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) Unit Coordinator, where I recruit, train, and manage volunteers to ensure they have the vital skills needed for public health emergency response. Notably, our unit played a key role in our department’s COVID-19 response, assisting with case investigations, testing, and vaccination clinics.

Thanks to these collective efforts, our unit was proudly recognized both locally and nationally for outstanding service and accomplishments.
