Seeking a paraprofessional position with McAllen ISD affording me an opportunity to use my teacher-aide certification while developing the necessary skills to be of assistance to all staff and students.

Education and Training Student at McAllen High School (2025-08 – Present)

• Created multiple lessons and instructional materials, worked with a team to create a classroom bulletin board, created a teaching project board and facilitated a service project for TAFE Area, State, and National Competition
• Practiced using instructional strategies such as think-pair-share, the conga line, and cooperative learning groups
• Worked as a team to plan and prepare for our annual Trunk-or-Treat Event
• Read a book to the community for Literacy Night
• Volunteered with Blessing Bags RGV to help package food

Teacher Aide Student Intern at Milam Elementary (2026-01 – 2026-05)

• Worked cooperatively with a MISD elementary teacher to assist with classroom instruction while following scope and sequence
• Created a lesson plan and instructional materials to teach a mini-lesson to a 3rd grade classroom
• Provided full classroom and individual assistance to differential learners
• Observed classroom management techniques from the classroom teacher
