I hold a bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background in criminal justice, which has provided me with a solid understanding of the legal system, law enforcement practices, and the social factors that influence crime. Through my coursework and related experiences, I developed skills in research, critical thinking, and problem-solving, as well as a deep appreciation for ethical decision-making and public service. This foundation has prepared me to engage effectively in roles that require analytical ability, professionalism, and a commitment to justice and community safety.
I bring extensive experience across juvenile corrections, case management, behavioral health, and mental health services. As a Juvenile Corrections Officer, I worked directly with youth involved in the justice system, maintaining safety while fostering positive behavior change and accountability. In my role as a Case Manager, I coordinated individualized support plans, connected clients to community resources, and monitored progress to ensure successful outcomes. My work as a Behavioral Health Specialist and Mental Health Professional strengthened my ability to conduct assessments, provide crisis intervention, implement evidence-based interventions, and support clients with diverse mental and emotional needs. Together, these roles have equipped me with strong communication, de-escalation, documentation, and advocacy skills, as well as a deep commitment to rehabilitation and client-centered care.
I hold both a Bachelor’s Degree and an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, providing me with a strong academic foundation in the principles of the justice system, law enforcement practices, and criminological theory. Through these programs, I gained knowledge in areas such as legal procedures, corrections, investigation, and community-based approaches to crime prevention. My education has equipped me with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills that support my work in correctional, behavioral health, and human-services settings.
