• Verify insurance benefits, obtain prior authorizations, and process pre-certifications.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve eligibility issues and coverage disputes.
• Assist patients with account inquiries and financial assistance options.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and documentation.
• Process FMLA and Workers’ Compensation forms.
• Support clinic operations: obtain vitals, conduct EKGs & FVLs, collect lab samples(blood, urine, stool, sputum, & swab specimens), administer injections, collect patient medical history and symptoms, patient education.
