Hard working Apprentice Lineman that does whatever it takes to get the job completed within reasonable time while being safe. Focused on learning more and more in this career. Dedicated to get work done when it needs to while looking after others on the job as well.

I have worked in a lot of different temperatures, whether it being 100 degrees to minus 20, the job always got completed. I have quite a bit of knowledge in this profession but there's always more to learn and I'm always excited to learn more.

• Restoring power in a timely manner while safe working
• Wrecking out old powerline
• Terminating elbows in URD transformers
• URD splices
• Building riser poles
• Hot pole change outs
• Running digger and bucket trucks
• Able to communicate with customers

Apprentice - Karian Peterson - Montevideo, MN

• Setting and pulling poles
• String new cable on distribution and tranny lines
• Dead ending wire
• Sagging wire with dyno's
• Tying in new wire
• Building switches, tranny and distribution
• A little hot line work (pulling hot jumpers, testing and grounding lines, putting lines on 1 shot, hooking up cutouts, putting on gut, removing gut, hot pole change outs)
• Experience in building substations/working in them
• Pole top rescue
• Roughly 6000 total hours of experience
• Completed 3/4 MREA CDL apprentice books
• Roughly 150 hours of hot work
