As an Orthodontic Dental Assistant, I assist the orthodontist with braces, wires, appliances, X-rays, and other orthodontic procedures while providing quality patient care. I prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain clean treatment areas, update patient records, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care. I work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while helping patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment.

I was working here for 2 years and my position included providing food and tray delivery to the assisted living and/or skilled care center residents. Sets up and cleans the dining room, maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assures timely meal delivery and plate preparation.

This job teaches me how to use my communication skills to talk to elders who may not mentally be there, and show me skills to help de-escalate situations with a resident before any altercations. I do more than just serve the residents food I also help out when they need their scooters brought to them, I assist them in getting seated at the table.
