Hi there! My name is Nicholas Graves, and I am a third-year computer science student with a focus on cybersecurity. I attend Oregon State University, where I am currently maintaining a 3.33 GPA. I am an enthusiastic learner and always looking to expand my skill set, so while cybersecurity is my primary area of interest, I am open to exploring other areas of computer science as well.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am also an active member of the security club at my university. This has allowed me to engage with other students who share my passion for cybersecurity and gain practical experience in the field through workshops and hackathons.
Outside of academics, I am also a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Through this organization, I have had the opportunity to develop my leadership and teamwork skills, as well as give back to the community through various philanthropic efforts.
Overall, I am a driven and hardworking individual who is eager to take on new challenges and make meaningful contributions to any organization I am a part of. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my skills and enthusiasm to a role in the computer science industry.
I had little technological work experience since I am so early into my career. I have worked at Godfathers Pizza as a cashier and delivery driver. I worked for 2 years from 2019-2021. I am currently employed by the Alpha Chi Omega sorority as a dishwasher. I have been working there since 2021.
I am in my junior year at Oregon State University in their computer science program. I have a declared focus in cyber security. I am currently on track to graduate on time in the spring of 2024. I have completed courses such as data structures, analysis of algorithms, web development, and operating systems.
